CAN/VAN Networking

CAN (Controller Area Network) networking is widely used in modern vehicle electronic architectures. Atmel® solutions for CAN networking encompass AVR 8-bit RISC microcontrollers and transceivers. Microcontrollers are compliant with V2.0A and V2.0B of CAN protocol. They are Flash-based with very flexible In-system Programming capabilities.

Atmel also provides VAN (Vehicle Area Network) compliant controllers.
